The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 is a new regulation that governs the data privacy rights of individuals within the European Union. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to EU residents over their personal data and to simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying the regulation within the EU.
GDPR was adopted on April 14th, 2016 and went into effect May 25th, 2018.

We care about how information you provide to us is used and shared. Our updated Privacy Notice explains the conditions under which and the purposes for which we collect and use your Personal Data in connection with your use of our services.
We have updated our Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
Our updated data processing agreement shares our data privacy commitment and sets out the terms for Persado to meet GDPR requirements. The updated DPA is available for our customers to sign upon request. Please contact us at [email protected] to obtain a copy.
We are Privacy Shield certified

We are coordinating with our vendors
We are working with all our vendors to ensure that they will be GDPR-ready and to sign updated data processing agreements with them.
We are establishing processes to support the rights of the data subjects
GDPR outlines a series of rights of the data subjects in regards to their Personal Data, such as the right to rectification, the right to erasure and the right to restriction of processing. We are updating our systems and processes to ensure that we can comply with all relevant requests.
We are enhancing our security measures
Security is a priority for us. We continuously review and enhance our security framework, implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.
